Who is Maz? Meet The Traitors season 4 contestant and civil servant
Maz is already up for murder tonight!

We may only be four episodes into The Traitors, but the tension is certainly ramping up...
Last night (7th January) saw Maz, Reece and Stephen all at risk of being murdered by the Traitors but as we know, Stephen is immune from such a fate.
After the reveal that Fiona was indeed the secret Traitor, it soon became clear that she was the hidden figure constantly putting Maz on the murder shortlist.
Given she chose to be the player to try and save Reece in the previous mission, could Maz's fate be sealed?
As we wait to find out, what is there to know about Maz? Read on to learn more about The Traitors season 4 contestant.
Who is Maz from The Traitors?

Age: 59
Job: Civil Servant
Location: Preston
Maz is a 59-year-old civil servant from Preston who is hoping to win so that he can use the money to support his ever growing family.
A self professed family man, Maz is a father of 5, the youngest of which is 18 and has just started university, and the grandfather to 5 as well, including twins, with a sixth on the way.
Maz believes he'll be a great addition to the cast, brining humour, patience and a "warm, friendly face".
Why did Maz apply for The Traitors?
Maz applied for The Traitors as he was already a big fan of the iconic show, declaring that whilst he loves watching the missions and competition unfold, his favourite thing about the show is the conversations and relationships formed between players.
He believes he's got the right skill set to take part; as well as being extremely competitive, he's good at working with others thanks to his participation in a football team.
"I think I'll bring that energy and drive. I know that I am a good team player. When I play football, I'm usually the one that's shouting their head off and giving people that drive and confidence but not overpowering.
"I enjoy being part of a team, having fun, and trying to get the job done," he said.
