Who is Judy? Meet The Traitors season 4 contestant and liaison officer

The Traitors has returned for a brand new series as a new group of players descend on the Scottish Highlands for the ultimate game of betrayal and trust.

Tonight's episode couldn't have come quicker for fans of the show, with the series dropping hints over the festive period, including one intriguing red cloak...

Among the contestants ready to play the devious game is Judy, whose game plan is to go with the flow and be herself as much as she can.

Who is Judy from The Traitors?

Age: 60

Job: Child liaison officer

Location: Doncaster

Judy is a 60-year-old child liaison officer from Doncaster who is after a challenge while on the show.

"You might think I'm getting on a bit, but I'm not," she said when asked about taking part in the missions. "I'm going to get myself in there. I want a challenge. My husband has said, 'What if they do a challenge with a helicopter?!' I'm not great with heights. Whatever the missions might be, I'll just have to throw myself into them. Of course I will!"

Judy sees herself as very much a people person, full of laughter and always jolly. "I don't do mardy," she said.

While in the castle, she is going to let the game unfold, be present, but also stay under the radar.

She added: "I won't be big and loud; I'll be myself and have fun. People usually gravitate towards me because they think I'm quite warm and loving, which I am, but I can have a dark side if I need to!

"Overall, I think if I can nurture people and be there for them like I do every day in my job then I might bring that."

Why did Judy apply for The Traitors?

Judy applied for The Traitors as she saw it was a game she could do, as well as it being "a great opportunity to do it at [her] time of life".

"I just think that the whole experience will be incredible, and I will never, ever experience anything like this again," she said.
