For Jade, if she were to get her hands on the prize money, she would use it to buy a house.
"I'm the ripe age of 25 and PhD life doesn't pay very well," she explained. "I'd like to buy a house somewhere I can call home, as I have moved around a lot for studying and so I'd like somewhere to finally call my own."
