Who is Jack? Meet The Traitors season 4 contestant and personal trainer

The Traitors returned with a bang this New Year's Day as 22 players all tried their hand at the ultimate game of betrayal and trust.

Among those players is Jack, who is headed into the game with tactics for everything, whether ti be different plays with shields or which players to avoid.

"I think the overarching theme is making people underestimate me and feel like they've worked me out, so that they don't perceive me as the threat," he said.

Who is Jack from The Traitors?

Age: 29

Job: Personal trainer

Location: Essex

Jack is a 29-year-old personal trainer from Essex who describes himself as a real people person.

Before the game even began, Jack did a deep dive into everything, including herd mentality, conformity and bias, which often pop up throughout the series.

He added: "I think all of them will probably underestimate me. I'm going to play on the stereotype of being the PT from Essex.

"And I think everyone will have their preconceived ideas of what someone from Essex and what a personal trainer is about, which is fantastic, because if I live it up and ham it up a bit no one will anticipate me to be the one with all the tactics."

Why did Jack apply for The Traitors?

Jack, like the other players in the game, is a massive fan of the show and he wanted to do something that was going to take him out of his comfort zone.

"Some of the missions are really physically demanding, but then there are the mental tests as well," he explained.

"You've got to be so switched on regardless of whether you're a Traitor or a Faithful, it just takes one slip up and you could be gone. You've got to be so locked in both physically and mentally."
