The Traitors is back for a fourth season, and it has already cemented itself as one not to be missed.

Kicking things off last night (1st January), audiences were let into a secret that there would be a secret Traitor amongst the players and no one - not even viewers at home - know who the player is.

One player who was chosen to be a Faithful (or could be the secret Traitor) is Faraaz, who plans to keep his opinions and cards close to his chest while observing the other players.

Who is Faraaz from The Traitors?

Faraaz is a 22-year-old internal auditor from Middlesbrough who is able to detach from his emotions and hopes he'll be able to play the came with his head over his heart.

"Being a fan, I really just wanted to have this experience and just see what it's like," he said.

"I'm quite approachable and bubbly, so it'll just be good to meet new people and that's something I'm really looking forward to as well."

Why did Faraaz apply for The Traitors?

Faraaz applied to be on The Traitors because he is a huge fan of the show and like many of his fellow contestants, has been watching the series since season 1.

"I thought it would be something that I'd really love to take part in and just immerse myself in that experience," he added.
