Who is Ellie? Meet The Traitors season 4 contestant and psychologist
Ellie will be hiding her job from the other players.
The ultimate game of betrayal and trust is finally back on TV screens for an epic fourth outing on BBC One.
That's right, The Traitors is back with some tricks up its sleeve. Audiences were shocked to learn that this series is introducing a Secret Traitor who will work alone.
Not only will the other Traitors and Faithful not know who they are, but neither do those tuning in from home!
"Each series is like a murder mystery, we never change the core game, but we always play with the twists around it," said Mike Cotton, creative director at Studio Lambert. "I think it'll be interesting to try and change the conversation slightly this season."
Amongst the players taking part is Ellie, who at the time of writing, is a Faithful.
But what is there to know about her? Read on to find out more about The Traitors season 4 contestant.
Who is Ellie from The Traitors?
Age: 33
Job: Psychologist
Location: London
Ellie is a 33-year-old psychologist from London who is hoping to bring a psychological perspective to the game, and plans to analyse what other contestants are doing and try to work out why they behave in certain ways.
She explained further: "Hopefully I'm going to be able to use all my psychological techniques to play the game as well as possible, whether I'm a Traitor or a Faithful, whether that's building up relationships with people, or deceiving people and concealing how I really feel."
Heading into the game, she is hoping to be a Traitor, but ultimately she plans to try and befriedn everyone, while also hiding her occupation to avoid people making assumptions about her.
Why did Ellie apply for The Traitors?
Ellie finds The Traitors to be "psychologically interesting" and enjoys analysing what everyone is doing and thinking through why they're convinced that they know something, despite being wrong.
It was through that, Ellie "had to get involved" and "had to understand it and get in there and play the game".
