Who is Ben? Meet The Traitors season 4 contestant and retiree

The Traitors finally made a return to screens, with the BBC treating audiences to a yet another glorious outing to the Scottish Highlands.

Prior to the series release, fans were promised of twists and turns aplenty, and the show has certainly not disappointed!

As we wait to see how the series unfolds, the show also introduced us to 22 new players, all of whom are ready to take on the ultimate game of betrayal and trust.

One of those players is Ben, but what is there to know about him? Scroll on to find out more.

Who is Ben from The Traitors?

Job: Retired

Location: Hampshire

Ben is a 66-year-old retiree from Hampshire who plans to bring his charisma, charm and personality into The Traitors castle.

"I think I'll have the skill, I think I'll have the determination and knowledge of the game, with the will to win," he said.

But Ben doesn't have a game plan, with just his skill set from his time in the forces set to help him.

Why did Ben apply for The Traitors?

Ben applied for The Traitors after becoming intrigued by the series, having never seen anything like it before.

"I was taken in totally and kept saying it's like Columbo and Agatha Christie looking for Judas Iscariot," he said.
