Amanda's ready to crack the case.

The wait is over as The Traitors returns for its 4th season, ushering in four weeks of lies, ruthless backstabbing and deceit.
Last night's first episode kicked off the season with a bang as the twist of Secret Traitor was revealed leaving the Traitors scrambling.
Among The Traitors contestants ready to play the treacherous game is Amanda, who thinks she has just what it takes to succeed after a life time spent as a detective in the police - something which she plans to keep secret from the rest of the cast!
With the new series under way, read on to find out everything you need to know about The Traitors season 4 contestant Amanda.
Who is Amanda from The Traitors?

Age: 57
Job: Retired police detective
Location: Brighton
Amanda is 57-year-old retired police detective from Brighton who now spends her time staying fit and healthy and being an active member in her community by volunteering with vulnerable people.
"I've got the luxury of staying fit and healthy, so I look forward to taking part in the physical missions," Amanda said.
Continuing: "As I’ve got older, and obviously I'm nearer 60 now, I'm still very competitive, but I’ve also realised there are more important things in life than winning everything."
If she were to win the potential £120,000 prize pot, she would donate a percentage of her winnings to charity after her brother died from a disease called pulmonary hypertension in 2011.
She would also like to be able to take her whole family away on holiday, saying: "I've got a big family, and we've been through a lot. Since my dad passed away a couple of years ago, my mum's on her own and I live so far away.
"My sisters are amazing, caring for her and always being there. So I'd love to take them all on holiday, somewhere really, really nice."
Why did Amanda apply for The Traitors?
Amanda applied for the show as not only does she love the game after watching the series but she's also a massive fan of Claudia Winkleman.
She also believes that her former career as a police detective has given her the perfect skill set to excel in the competition.
"I got very drawn into the game and, perhaps naively, I thought, this is something I can win! I was a detective, and I've done lots of interviews with criminals and victims. You have to put the pieces together to find the truth and see through the lies," she said.
Amanda continued: "To be a Traitor, you have to be good at lying, have a good poker face and be a master of deflection to prevent you being identified. I’ve learned a lot about being deceptive, devious and cunning.
"On the other side of the coin, I am a good person, and I became a police officer to help people. You have to be nice and calm, even when there's a big storm around you. I’d bring all these skills into the game."
