Who is Scarlett Moffatt? I’m a Celebrity South Africa contestant and TV presenter
Will she be able to defend her Queen of the Jungle crown?

I'm a Celebrity is back once again with a brand new cast of celebrities ready to take on whatever the show has to throw at them.
But this time around, they're hopefully all prepared for camp life and the gruelling trials as they've all done it before, as the South African iteration of the show contains an all star line-up, made up of celeb contestants who have all previously been on the series.
From winners of the show to those who were barely able to last five minutes in the jungle, 12 celebs are returning to the show, eight of whom will enter the camp from the start, followed by two sets of late arrivals – the first of which will happen in the first episode.
Amongst them is TV personality and presenter Scarlett Mofatt, but what has she been up to in the decade since she last appeared on the show? Here's everything you need to know about the TV presenter ahead of tonight's episode.

Scarlett Moffatt has been on our screens since 2013 and rose to fame as member of the cast of Gogglebox, on which she featured alongside her parents Mark and Betty, making their debut in the third series in March 2014.
In 2015, she joined the Capital Breakfast show on Capital North East as a presenter and left Googlebox completely in 2017 after winning her series of I'm a Celebrity the previous year.
She has since had multiple TV presenting roles including the revival of dating show Streetmate, hosting backstage at the National Television Awards and joining Ant & Dec on their Saturday Night Takeaway.
In 2018 she returned to radio, guest-hosting an evening radio show on Heart, and since 2022 Scarlett has presented a BBC Radio 1 podcast alongside her boyfriend Scott Dobinson, called Scarlett Moffatt Wants to Believe.
Most recently, she won the 2025 Christmas special of Strictly Come Dancing.
What season of I’m a Celebrity was Scarlett Mofatt on?
Scarlett won I'm a Celeb back in 2016, with her I'm a Celebrity... South Africa co-star Adam Thomas coming in third place the same season.
Why is Scarlett Mofatt returning to I’m a Celebrity?
Despite winning her series in 2016, the former Queen of the Jungle has admitted she is apprehensive about going back on the show but that there was no way she could turn the opportunity down.
"I was a bit overwhelmed. Out of all the people they could pick, I felt grateful that I was even a thought because so many people have done it. I watch the show religiously and I was so happy to be asked," she said.
Scarlett continued: "I am ten years older now and it is a big challenge for me. I do feel apprehensive as I watched the first Legends series and the trials and challenges were like all the Australian trials combined - so a level up.
"I hope I can do them. I am going to give it my all, but I have everything to thank this show for. Doing Gogglebox was lovely, but I’m A Celebrity… was the first programme I’d done on my own."
She also candidly admitted that she has gone back on the show as she needs to pay for a new bathroom.
I'm a Celebrity... South Africa returns on Monday 6 April at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
