The third episode of the 2026 series of The Great Celebrity Bake Off will air this coming Sunday on Channel 4, as another five celebrities enter the iconic tent.

This week, the celebrity bakers will be battling it out making mini rolls and syrup sponge puddings, before recreating the most iconic outfits they've ever worn in choux pastry form, all in the hopes of impressing judges Paul Hollywood and Cherish Finden to be named Star Baker.

Taking to the tent this week is presenter Alex Brooker, actress Rose Ayling-Ellis, TV personality Vicky Pattison, King of the Jungle Sam Thompson – and joining them is Ambika Mod.

But just who is Ambika Mod? Read on to learn more about the British actress as she dons her apron.

Ambika Mod is known for the BBC medical comedy drama This Is Going to Hurt, where she acted opposite Ben Whishaw. However, it was her role in Netflix's One Day in 2024 as Emma which propelled her into super stardom.

Her other TV credits include Disney+ thriller The Stolen Girl and I Hate Suzie. She has also appeared in a number of theatre productions, including Every Brilliant Thing, Porn Play and White Rabbit Red Rabbit.

This year, she will have a voice role in the upcoming Netflix animated film Swapped, as well as voicing Nymphadora Tonks in new releases of the Harry Potter audiobooks. She is also set to take part in the second season of Keira Knightley's Black Doves, with the release date still to be announced, where she will again act opposite This Is Going to Hurt co-star Ben Whishaw.

In 2024, Mod was included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list under the Entertainment category.
