BAFTA-winning Normal People no longer on BBC iPlayer as it finds new streaming home
Connell and Marianne's smash-hit love story has found a new home.

Normal People – the TV drama that launched the careers of Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul Mescal – has been moved from BBC iPlayer to a new home.
The 2020 series, based on the book by Sally Rooney, became an international smash hit upon its initial release, with fans falling head over heels for the complicated love story between Connell Waldron (Mescal) and Marianne Sheridan (Edgar-Jones).
After first launching on BBC iPlayer in the UK, the show has now been given a new home, and has been removed from the free streaming service.
Now, you can watch on Disney+, with all six episodes available to stream.

Tracking over a decade of the pair's lives, Normal People starts with Connell and Marianne in high school – with Connell the popular kid whose mum cleans for the rich family of socially-distant Marianne.
However, by the time they reconnect at university, the pair's social standing and confidence has changed, though their strong bond remains.
As the pair flit in and out of each other's lives, the show was praised for its open discussion on male mental health, sex, and the complications that arise from being "friends with benefits".

Since featuring in the series, both Mescal and Edgar-Jones have become in-demand stars – with Mescal taking over from Russell Crowe in Gladiator II and being set to appear as Paul McCartney in the upcoming Beatles biopic series.
Edgar-Jones appeared in last year's summer blockbuster Twisters, a sequel to the 1996 movie, as well as literary adaptation Where the Crawdads Sing in 2022.
She was announced earlier this month to be leading the cast of a new remake of Jane Austen classic Sense and Sensibility.
