Ian McDiarmid as King Pellanor

King of the Cantii, Pellanor is totally under the spell of the Druids – whatever their demand, he will obey. He believes the Romans will fail, just as Julius Caesar did, and so is much more preoccupied with his daughter Kerra and the feud with the Regni tribe.

Phelan is King Pellanor’s son and the heir to the Cantii throne. His diplomatic approach means that many within the tribe see him as weak. This angers his wife, Amena, who is simply using Phelan to get to the crown. They have a very strained relationship, to put it mildly.
