The series will air on Channel 4 this August.

Channel 4 has confirmed the release date for new crime drama In Flight, which is led by Mr Bates vs the Post Office star Katherine Kelly - and there's not long to wait.
The new six-part drama, which has been written and co-created by Mike Walden (Marcella) and Adam Randall (Slow Horses) and has been dubbed "compelling" by Channel 4, will launch on Tuesday 12th August 2025.
The news was announced alongside a gripping new trailer for the series, introducing us to Kelly's character Jo Conran, a flight attendant and single mother whose son is imprisoned in Bulgaria after a bar fight leaves someone dead.
We see Jo being approached by Cormac, as played by Miss Scarlet and The Duke's Stuart Martin. He is the leader of a criminal gang, who is seen blackmailing Jo to smuggle drugs, in order to save her son's life. We also see Top Boy's Ashley Thomas as Jo’s ex, customs officer Dom Delaney.
You can watch the trailer right here now.
The synopsis for the series says: "As Jo becomes ensnared in the murky underworld of corruption and hired killers, she is forced to carry out their orders while desperately trying to find a way out. She turns to her ex, Dom, for help however, no matter how far Jo finds herself from her old life, her mission remains the same, to keep her son alive.
"Set against the fast-paced, high-pressure backdrop of international air travel, In Flight follows Jo’s relentless quest to protect her family while entangled in a dangerous criminal syndicate."
Also starring in the series, which is set across the globe in locations including Bangkok, Bulgaria, Istanbul and London, are Bronagh Waugh, Harry Cadby, Corinna Brown and Ambreen Razia.
Co-creators Walden and Randall previously said of the series: "In Flight is our spin on the noir genre, a high stakes, stylish, romantic thriller with iconic characters and nerve-shredding action.
"Channel 4 is the perfect home for our story and we're so excited to be collaborating with such a brilliant team. Jo is a character close to our hearts. She is an ordinary woman facing extraordinary odds. We can't wait for audiences to meet her."
In Flight will air on Channel 4 from Tuesday 12th August 2025.
