Perhaps the best way to play FM on the go (at least until FM26 Console comes to Switch), FM26 Mobile is the simplified version of the game made for phones and tablets.

And as the series goes through a massive overhaul ahead of the full FM26 release date, we're gearing up for another year of cellular FM.

So, if you're wondering when FM26 Mobile releases, whether it's still on Netflix and more, here's what you need to know.

When is the FM26 Mobile release date? Netflix subscription explained

FM26 Mobile releases on 4th November 2025 for iOS and Android devices. This is the same date as the full release of FM26.

In the first few years of FM Mobile's existence, players could simply buy the game as a one-off purchase on mobile devices, but over the last few years, it's been a Netflix exclusive.

FM26 is no different, which means FM26 Mobile will be available exclusively for Netflix subscribers, meaning Netflix Games is the only way you'll be able to play this year's game on the go – great for Netflix subscribers, not so great for anyone else.

What to expect from FM26 Mobile

To be frank, we don't actually know very much about FM26 Mobile at all, as Sports Interactive has focused almost all of their attention on the more popular PC and console versions of the game.

That being said, there are a few things we know about it, most notably is that it is the only FM26 title that is not moving to the Unity engine, according to a blog post from the official Football Manager website.

Beyond that, women's football will also be making its debut in FM26 Mobile, alongside the main game.

FM26 Mobile will be the first mobile game in the series to feature save game compatibility as well, meaning you'll be able to port over your FM24 Mobile saves into FM26 Mobile.

Lastly, while not necessarily to the same extent as the main game, the UI is getting a bit of an overhaul to hopefully make playing the game on a mobile a bit easier.
