CODMAS is finally upon us once again and it is bringing a host of new events, limited-time modes, maps, and rewards across Black Ops 7's Endgame, multiplayer, and Zombies, as well as in Warzone.

Like last year, there will be some exclusive rewards to earn, alongside some new weapons during the event, which you won't want to miss out on, as they will become harder to obtain from the Armory.

Here is a rundown of the CODMAS event in 2025 and what you can expect from it:

When is CODMAS 2025? Start date speculation

CODMAS 2025 is expected to start between 15th December 2025 and 19th December 2025, the week before Christmas and the holiday break. Not only is this midway between the release of Season 1 and the expected release of Season 1 Reloaded in January, it also is the last week the event could realistically take place before Christmas Day on the following Thursday.

CODMAS last year started much earlier, but Black Ops 6 released around three weeks before Black Ops 7 did this year, so a mid December release makes the most sense.

What to expect from CODMAS 2025

CODMAS 2025 will feature a unique set of rewards and items to earn as a part of either a reward track for earning XP or a gacha-style unlock event with rewards unlocked as you gain tokens or other items.

The exact way this will work this year isn't known right now, but the Call of Duty blog should reveal all before the event starts.

There will be a new map in multiplayer: Sleighjacked, which is a festive take on Hijacked. Holiday Havoc and Snowfight will also be available as limited time modes. Zombies will also receive the Jingle Hells mode once again and a mode called List Keeper's Challenge. Finally, Warzone will receive the Holiday Rush Limited time mode during CODMAS.

It is likely that the CODMAS event will hide the Sturmwolf 45 SMG, the SOKOL-545 LMG, the NX Ravager crossbow, or the Hawker HX weapons, with the rest available during other events in Season 1, as we have seen in previous years.

We should know more this week or next week, so be sure to stay tuned for the latest updates.
