ARC Raiders open beta: Start date, launch time and will there be another?

With the ARC Raiders release date barrelling towards us, you might be wondering if there will be another ARC Raiders open beta, and if the last one is still running.

We just had a Server Slam test ahead of the game's full launch, but with so little time between that and the game coming out, there is slim hope that we will get another chance to go hands-on for free.

But, just so you can kick yourself even more than you already have, we've got the ARC Raiders open beta start date, when it ran until, and how you could sign up, all for posterity's sake, of course...

When is the ARC Raiders open beta start date?

The ARC Raiders open beta began on 17th October 2025 at 2pm BST.

For all you readers in other parts of the world, here's when the Server Slam began for you:

• US West Coast (PDT) – 6am
• US Mountain (MDT) – 7am
• US Central (CDT) – 8am
• US East Coast (EDT) – 9am
• Central Europe (CEST) – 3pm
• Singapore (SGT) – 9pm
• Japan (JST) – 10pm
• Australia East Coast (AEDT) – 12am, 18th October
• New Zealand (NZDT) – 2am, 18th October

The open beta ran until 19th October, giving players the whole weekend to jump in and try the game out.

Will there be another ARC Raiders open beta?

Given that the game is set to launch 30th October 2025, it is highly unlikely that ARC Raiders will get another open beta before then.

The only way we can imagine another open beta happening is if ARC Raiders got a last-minute delay, but again, the likelihood of this happening is low.

Your only chance of playing it now will be to purchase the game and hop in on release day!

If you're still not convinced, depending on how the launch goes or how long the player count is sustained for, Embark Studios might opt to do a free weekend at some point, but we wouldn't count on it being soon.

How could you get access to the ARC Raiders open beta?

The ARC Raiders open beta was entirely open to everyone – there was nothing at all that you needed to do to get access.

That meant that whether you'd signed up for newsletters, pre-ordered the game or just heard about it for the first time, you could check it out.

All you needed to do was download ARC Raiders directly from the Steam or Epic Games Store on PC, the PlayStation Store or the Xbox Store.

It should be noted that the game is only available on current-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles, so Switch, PS4 and Xbox One owners, you are out of luck.
