Street Fighter is coming to the big screen — a welcome change to the CRT TVs that many franchise fans will have grown up button-mashing on.
Making childhood dreams come true, the forthcoming film is a joint venture between Capcom & Legendary. Directed by Kitao Sakurai (Bad Trip) and written by Dalan Musson (Captain America: Brave New World), the vibrant action flick features a star-studded cast led by Andrew Koji and Noah Centineo.
The storyline in the iconic video game series, that reached the height of its popularity in mid-90s, most certainly plays second fiddle to the high-octane fighting bouts the franchise has become known for, so the filmmakers will surely be taking some creative licence.
The film follows estranged Street Fighters Ryu (Koji) and Ken Masters (Centineo) as they are recruited by the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) for the next World Warrior Tournament—a brutal clash of fists, fate, and fury. Beneath the surface, a deadly conspiracy threatens to force these fighters to confront each other and the demons of their past...

David Dastmalchian as M Bison

Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson as Balrog

Cody Rhodes as Guile

Orville Peck as Vega
About the character: Vega is a masked and flamboyant fighter, celebrated for his speed, agility, and deadly claw attacks.
Where you’ve seen Orville Peck before: Aside from lending his voice to one episode of Disney's animated series Kiff, Peck doesn't have a screen credit to his name. Instead, he's a well known musician, with hit songs like Dead of Night, Midnight Ride and Roses Are Falling.
Mel Jarnson as Cammy
About the character: Cammy is a fierce and agile fighter, known for her combat skills and striking appearance.
Where you’ve seen Mel Jarnson before: This isn't Jarnson's first fight, she starred as Nitara in 2021's Mortal Kombat. In addition, she's also featured in movies Blacklight and Witchboard.
Eric André as Don Sauvage
About the character: Don Sauvage is a new addition to the Street Fighter universe, though specific details about the character have not been revealed.
