Spy Cat

In this cute and rather fun cartoon adventure, a pampered house cat who watches too many TV crime shows, a scaredy-cat guard dog, a yoga-practising chicken and a dim zebra team up to thwart (more by accident than design) a gang of international housebreakers. But not before the furred and feathered foursome have themselves been mistaken for the thieves. The dialogue sometimes sounds a little like it's been translated from a foreign language (which it probably has, considering this is a German/Belgian co-production) and it's hardly the acme of computer animation, but the characters are sweet and likeable, and the story rattles along nicely. File under school-holiday viewing for younger kids.
