The universe is a weird and wonderful place, but it can also be a dangerous one. Luckily, there's someone around to stand up for the weak and the oppressed - step forward courageous Time Lord the Doctor. Saving the cosmos can be a lonely job, though - so it's just as well he has a knack for meeting people who are up for joining him on his travels.
