Rangers begin their Scottish Premiership campaign with an away trip to face Motherwell this weekend.

New boss Russell Martin will get his first taste of the top flight when his side arrive at Fir Park for the late afternoon kick-off.

Martin isn't the only one settling nicely into new surroundings, with summer signing Djeidi Gassama making a bright start to life in Glasgow.

Motherwell are also turning a new page with their manager. Jens Berthel Askou has recently been employed as assistant coach at Sparta Prague and Copenhagen, but will now return to a full management role for 2025/26.
