Fantasy Premier League tips GW31: FPL transfers you should make – including Tyne-Wear derby star
Our guide to Fantasy Premier League tips ahead of GW31 in 2025/26.

There is plenty for Fantasy Premier League managers to ponder ahead of the last weekend before the Spring international break.
The league's two best sides, Arsenal and Manchester City, are not in league action due to the Carabao Cup final, while most of the other fixtures are tough to call.
Whether you've pulled the trigger on your free hit or are just looking for one addition, at this point in the season, every transfer carries extra weight.
Radio Times brings you our top FPL tips for GW31 in 2025/26.
Fantasy Premier League tips GW31
DEF: Malick Thiaw (NEW, £5.1m, 10.1 per cent)
Sunday's Tyne-Wear derby has all the makings of a real battle of attrition and one where a physical centre-back will flourish. Malick Thiaw has been just that in his first season with the Mags and is worth a place in your side – particularly with Arsenal and Man City's defenders absent.
Not only does Thiaw pile up the defensive contributions and look a likely clean sheet provider in a game that should be low scoring but he also offers a real attacking threat at set-pieces as well.

MID: Harry Wilson (FUL, £6m, 25.6 per cent)
Fulham have failed to capitalise on a run of games against teams near the bottom of the Premier League but it feels made to pass up the opportunity of taking Harry Wilson against Burnley.
The Welsh livewire has been one of the most exciting players in the division in recent months and will relish his chance to face the struggling Clarets, who have struggled to keep wingers quiet this term.
FOR: Igor Thiago (BRE, £7.3m, 37.4 per cent)
Leeds United have only kept one Premier League clean sheet at home since August and if visitors Brentford are to continue that record, you can bet star striker Igor Thiago will be involved.
The Brazilian is showing no signs of slowing down as he nears the 20-goal mark in the league. Let him shoulder your FPL hopes as well as the Bees' European dreams.
