Stranger Things: Tales from '85 trailer reveals new monsters for beloved heroes
The Party is back in action.

A first-look trailer for the upcoming animated Stranger Things spin-off series shows the all-new monsters our beloved heroes will be up against.
First announced in April last year, Stranger Things: Tales From '85 is set in the winter of 1985 (as the title suggests), between the events of Stranger Things' second and third seasons.
It follows the beloved gang of Eleven, Max, Mike, Lucas, Dustin and Will, as they face new monsters and unravel a paranormal mystery terrorising their town.
The official synopsis reads: "In the winter of 1985, snow blankets the town and the horrors of the Upside Down are finally fading. Our heroes Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max have settled back into a normal life of D&D, snowball fights, and quiet days.
"But beneath the ice, something terrifying has awakened. Could it be from the Upside Down? From the depths of Hawkins Lab? Or from somewhere else entirely? Our heroes must race to solve this mystery and save Hawkins in this new story set in the Stranger Things universe."

Now, fans have been given their very first look at the new monsters in the brand new trailer for the show.
Alongside Demogorgons and Demodogs that fans are acquainted with from the original series, a new viney-looking monster that seems akin to Little Shop of Horror’s carnivorous plant, Audrey II, is introduced, along with a Demogorgon-looking creature that has a pumpkin for a head. Maybe it's the Halloween special?
Whilst no names or details of the new monsters have been confirmed, Eric Robles, showrunner and executive producer, did tease some info of what we can expect from the new creatures.

"Hawkins Lab science meets Upside Down matter," he said. "There's a chain reaction to the creatures that are in our world and the things that are popping up."
Without the presence of Vecna and a giant world-saving storyline, Stranger Things: Tales from '85 goes back to being a cosy small-town horror show, reminiscent of the first few seasons of the original series.
Stranger Things: Tales from '85 is made up of 10 30-minute episodes, and the series will be released on Netflix on Thursday 23 April.
The voice cast for the new show, from Flying Bark animation studios, has been confirmed, with Brooklyn Davey Norstedt voicing Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, EJ (Elisha) Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin, Ben Plessala as Will, and Brett Gipson as Hopper.
Stranger Things: Tales from '85 will air on Netflix on Thursday 23 April. All Stranger Things seasons are available to stream on Netflix now.
