The Night Manager star features in first look teaser for new horror series from Stranger Things creators
Camila Morrone stars in upcoming 8-parter Something Very Bad is Going to Happen.

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for upcoming wedding-set horror series Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, which is led by The Night Manager star Camila Morrone.
The series comes executive produced by Stranger Things pair Matt and Ross Duffer, and was created by Haley Z Boston, who previously worked on another Netflix horror series, 2021's Brand New Cherry Flavor.
Morrone – who is also known for her role in Daisy Jones & The Six – plays Rachel, a woman who is due to get married in five days and travels with her fiancé, Nicky (Adam DiMarco), to his family's secluded vacation home located in a snowy forest.

In the trailer, which you can see below, we get a pretty good indicator of the show's eerie atmosphere. The footage opens with Rachel – kitted out in full wedding garb – walking slowly down the aisle until someone mutters, "I'm sorry", a refrain we hear several more times before the end of the teaser.
In keeping with the show's title, the whole clip has a very ominous feel; at one point, we see Rachel running away from someone in the snowy forest. We also get a glimpse of a Wicker Man-style figure being burned and a wedding cake bearing the slogan: "I'm sorry I forgot you were going to kill me."
Check it out in full below, ahead of the show's streaming debut on March 26.

Netflix's official synopsis for the eight-part limited series compares it to horror classics Carrie and Rosemary's Baby, and describes it as "horror’s take on a woman becoming a wife".
It continues: "Prone to superstition and paranoia, Rachel can't shake the relentless feeling that something bad is going to happen. Her foreboding doubts, coupled with a series of eerie coincidences and dreadful surprises, force her to ask the question: What makes two people soulmates?
"And worse — what could be scarier than lifelong commitment to the wrong person?"
Alongside Morrone and DiMarco, the cast for the series also includes Jeff Wilbusch (Keep Breathing), Karla Crome (Misfits), Gus Birney (Shining Vale), Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight), Ted Levine (The Silence of the Lambs) and Sawyer Fraser (The Baby-Sitters Club).
Something Very Bad is Going to Happen is released on Netflix on Thursday 26 March. Sign up for Netflix from £5.99 a month. Netflix is also available on Sky Glass and Virgin Media.
