For All Mankind season 5 release date confirmed with new first look and The Killing reunion
Mireille Enos is joining Joel Kinnaman in the cast for this season.

Get ready to reach for the stars once more, as Apple TV's alternate history series, For All Mankind, is coming back for season 5.
The first trailer for the new season has now been unveiled, along with a new set of images, as the release date has been unveiled for the new batch of 10 episodes.
Season 5 will officially debut on Friday 27th March, with episodes arriving weekly. This means the finale will debut on 29th May.
The synopsis for this season says that it "picks up in the years since the Goldilocks asteroid heist".
"Happy Valley has grown into a thriving colony with thousands of residents and a base for new missions that will take us even further into the solar system," the synopsis continues.
"But with the nations of Earth now demanding law and order on the Red Planet, friction continues to build between the people who live on Mars and their former home."

While Joel Kinnaman, Toby Kebbell, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, Coral Peña and Wrenn Schmidt, will all be returning, this season also sees the introduction of some notable series regulars, including Kinnaman's former The Killing co-star Mireille Enos.

Costa Ronin (The Americans), Sean Kaufman (The Summer I Turned Pretty), Ruby Cruz (Mare of Easttown) and Ines Asserson (Royalteen) are all also joining the cast.
For All Mankind fans ares really getting treated this year, as not only is season 5 on the way, but a spin-off, titled Star City, is also coming soon.

That show is reportedly set to be led by Rhys Ifans, with the story focusing on the Soviet space programme in For All Mankind's alternate history, taking the timeline right back to the start of the series.
