Good Omens star reveals whether he’ll be returning for finale: "Here’s hoping"
Will we be seeing any more of Gabriel in the final instalment of Good Omens?
With it now being confirmed that Good Omens is set to bow out with a 90-minute finale this May, fans of the hit fantasy series are waiting patiently to see just how things will wrap up for David Tennant's Crowley and Michael Sheen's angel Aziraphale.
While events were left on an open-ended note for our lead characters the last time we saw them on our screens, fans may also be wondering if we'll be seeing any more of Gabriel in the near future.
Played by Jon Hamm, the beloved character wound up naked and confused last season, having lost his memory – and Crowley and Aziraphale were intent on getting to the bottom of his amnesia.
Things concluded rather happily for Gabriel as he fell in love with Beelzebub (Shelley Conn) and the pair abandoned their posts to move to Alpha Centauri. But could we be seeing him again in the upcoming Good Omens finale?

Posing that question to Hamm himself as he promoted the second season of Apple TV's Your Friends & Neighbours, the actor revealed (in the video above): "That’s a good question!
"That’s up to people whose pay cheques are significantly larger than mine so I’ll leave that to them but things ended up very well with Archangel Gabriel.
"I think he’s found his true love and is floating the universe somewhere so there’s always a chance that he will re-coalesce in some way, shape or form. So, here’s hoping."
With the new episode set to debut just next month, it hasn't been revealed who will be joining Tennant or Sheen, but it's safe to say that we have our fingers crossed for one final moment with Gabriel!
Neil Gaiman, co-author of Good Omens, exited the TV series after he was accused of sexual assault, which he has strongly denied. He contributed to writing the Good Omens finale but he did not work on the production and his production company Blank Corporation was not involved.
A total of nine women have spoken out against the writer, with their accusations being detailed in a Vulture article published in January 2025, and in a Tortoise Media podcast released in July 2024.

Allegations included claims that Gaiman engaged them in "rough" sex and BDSM without their consent. The novelist has firmly denied any non-consensual or illegal conduct in a statement.
He said: "As I read through this latest collection of accounts, there are moments I half-recognise and moments I don't, descriptions of things that happened sitting beside things that emphatically did not happen.
"I'm far from a perfect person, but I have never engaged in non-consensual sexual activity with anyone. Ever."
