KAOS star Nabhaan Rizwan and Dracula star Claes Bang have both been cast in the Netflix series. While their roles are being kept under wraps for now, they've been confirmed as series regulars.

Rizwan is known for roles including Dionysus in KAOS, as well as Silas Huxley in Dope Girls and Isaac in Juice, while Bang has played roles including John Paul Williams in Bad Sisters, as well as Dracula in BBC's 2020 adaptation of the same name.

The pair join stars Lola Petticrew , Toby Wallace, Tanzyn Crawford, Laura Marcus, and Zachary Hart, who have already been cast in the show.

Noomi Rapace, Ramzy Bedia, Sean Harris, and Corrado Invernizzi have also joined the series in recurring roles.

Since its debut in 2007, Assassin's Creed has become one of the best-loved and most popular series in gaming, with the latest release, Assassin's Creed Shadows, launching in March 2025.

Peter Friedlander, Netflix’s vice president, scripted series, said of the series: "When we first announced our partnership with Ubisoft in 2020, we set out with an ambitious goal to bring the rich, expansive world of Assassin’s Creed to life in bold new ways.

"Now, after years of dedicated collaboration, it’s inspiring to see just how far that vision has come.

"Guided by the deft hands of Roberto Patino and David Wiener, the team has carefully crafted an epic adventure that both honours the legacy of the Assassin’s Creed franchise and invites longtime fans and newcomers alike to experience the thrill of the Brotherhood as never before."

Plot details for the upcoming series are, naturally, being kept secret but the logline for the series does give us some hints.

It reads: "Assassin’s Creed is a high-octane thriller centred on the secret war between two shadowy factions — one set on determining mankind’s future through control and manipulation, while the other fights to preserve free will.

"The series follows its characters across pivotal historical events as they battle to shape humanity’s destiny."

The upcoming series doesn't yet have a release date.

Assassin's Creed will be available to stream on Netflix. Sign up for Netflix from £5.99 a month. Netflix is also available on Sky Glass and Virgin Media Stream.
