The series, from director Kaori Makita and studio MAPPA, follows the assassin and his uneasy alliance with the other convicts as they face an increasingly dangerous Tensen.

What's the plot of Hell’s Paradise season 2?
Hell’s Paradise season 2 continues the anime adaptation of Yuji Kaku’s popular manga, following the infamous shinobi Gabimaru as he searches for the legendary Elixir of Life on a dangerous island in a bid to earn a pardon for his past crimes.
The new season adapts the remainder of the Lord Tensen Arc and most of the Hōrai Arc - spanning volumes six to nine of the manga - focusing on the survivors of the first and second landing parties as they infiltrate the city of Hōrai.
However, they soon come up against the Lord Tensen - seven immortal, artificial human-plant hybrids capable of regeneration - leading to a series of high-octane battles. As the conflict escalates, the group begins to uncover the island’s true nature and the Tensen’s sinister plan, which involves using humans in the process.
Hell’s Paradise is available to watch now on Crunchyroll.
