Race Across the World is finally making its grand return to BBC One this spring, as a new group of intrepid teams travel across Europe and Asia.

The sixth season will feature what could be the toughest journey yet, as the five teams travel more than 12,000km from Italy to Mongolia.

Their route will see them travel through Italy, Greece, Türkiye, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan before finishing on the shores of Lake Khövsgöl, in northern Mongolia.

And there isn't long to go, as Race Across the World returns on Thursday 2 April at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer!

This year's pairs include best friends Jo and Kush, siblings Katie and Harrison, father and daughter Molly and Andrew, cousins Puja and Roshni and in-laws Mark and Margo.

As ever, the teams will embark on a race like no other, being stripped of their smartphones and bank cards and only the money equivalent of flying the route.

Each pair will be test physically and emotionally, but only one team can emerge victorious as they battle to be the first to reach the finish line and claim the £20,000 cash prize.
