BBC unveils YouTube spin-off series for popular comedy show as part of wider digital strategy
The new show promises to be "the maddest YouTube format ever".

The BBC has unveiled a YouTube spin-off series of popular comedy show Things You Should Have Done as part of its wider digital strategy.
Things You Should Have Done is a BBC Three sitcom created by internet personality, comedian and actress Lucia Keskin, known online as Chi with a C.
It follows Keskin as a self-confessed "stay-at-home-daughter" who is left to fend for herself after her parents suddenly die in a car crash.
She is then only able to access her inheritance on the condition she completes a list of "Things You Should Have Done" left by her parents which includes everything from "pet a dog" to "get a job". Each episode sees her character unleashed in Ramsgate, Kent as she attempts to cross another item off the list.
The first season debuted in 2024 and was renewed for a second series which aired earlier this year, following a wave of award wins, including a BAFTA, for its debut.

Series two saw Chi once again grappling with life, death, and everything in between alongside her step cousin Lucas (Jamie Bisping) and unhinged and wildly unprofessional grief counsellor Ruth (Bridget Christie).
Now, a new YouTube spin-off series, entitled What Have You Done?, where dysfunctional but lovable hosts Chi and Lucas invite eight bewildered celebrities to sit on their pedalo on Ramsgate Boating Lake, has been unveiled
The celebrities and hosts discuss things they wish they'd done in their lives, alongside a few confessions about moments they perhaps wish they hadn’t.
Jon Petrie, BBC Director of Comedy, said: "We’re excited to continue exploring comedy on YouTube, from the vantage point of Chi’s pedalo. Big thanks to all the brilliant guests who gamely climbed aboard to chat with Chi and Lucas."
What Have You Done? is part of the BBC's strategy to commission content for YouTube, with short-form, personality-driven content that is designed to engage new audiences both on YouTube and BBC iPlayer.
Joining Chi and Lucas on the pedalo to discuss their missed opportunities, failed dreams and hidden desires are rapper Big Zuu, broadcaster Kate Garraway, comedian Sam Campbell and drag queen Tia Kofi. Later episodes see them joined by TV presenter Konnie Huq, actress Tamzin Outhwaite and comedians Lou Sanders and Josh Pugh.
The first two episodes featuring Kate Garraway, then Big Zuu are available to watch now on the official BBC YouTube channel and BBC iPlayer, with additional episodes released weekly.
Series one and two of Things You Should Have Done are available on BBC iPlayer now.
