Wuchang: Fallen Feathers – How to beat Master Raider Man-eating Dhutanga boss guide
It's pretty easy once you know what you're doing!
Upon reaching a village early on in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, you'll come across your first major boss: Master Raider – Man-eating Dhutanga.
A major challenge if you're not prepared for him, he's actually quite easy to beat if you know how to counter him.
So, here's a quick rundown of exactly what you need to do to take down Dhutanga in a matter of minutes.
How to beat Master Raider Man-eating Dhutanga in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
We could go pretty in-depth on all of Dhutanga's attacks, telling you exactly how to avoid each one and how to punish them, but there's really no need!
There's one specific mechanic in Wuchang that you need to use to quickly dispatch Dhutanga, and that's backstabs.
In Wuchang, hitting certain enemies in the back with a heavy attack (hold R2/RT) will stagger them, allowing you to get a free punish on them that deals a tremendous amount of damage.
Many of Dhutanga's attacks are slow, well-telegraphed, and have a long recovery period.

The key to beating Dhutanga is to wait for him to use one of his large, swinging attacks. As the attack is about to hit, dodge forwards into him, which should place you directly behind him.
Turn around and launch a heavy attack to stun him, approach him until the marker on your screen turns red, and hit R1/RB to punish, before following up with two or three quick hits before he gets back up.
In his second phase, Dhutanga gets a few extra moves, but the strategy is the same. Stay out of range of his fire attacks, while punishing any big swings with your heavy attacks.
As and when you get Skyborn Might from dodging, be sure to throw in a couple of magic attacks to chip away at him, and you should have him beaten in no time at all!
