Wuchang: Fallen Feathers – How to beat Feathered Priest Lu Bingzhang boss guide
Whistle while you work.
At the very top of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers' Shu Sanctum, you'll come across Lu Bingzhang, a priest that has fallen to the Feathering.
By this point, you'll have already taken care of Man-eating Dhutanga, so will have the skills to take Lu Bingzhang down.
But, if you're after a bit more help, here's our quick guide to how to beat Feathered Priest Lu Bingzhang in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.
How to beat Feathered Priest Lu Bingzhang in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
If you want to make this fight as easy as possible, then you'll want to get your hands on the Bone Whistle.
You can get this from talking to Nian Suichiang, who you'll find on the road to the Shu Sanctum from Lightzen Temple.
Blowing this whistle in the fight with Lu Bingzhang will summon Nian, making the fight much easier as he will draw aggro from you.
Next, prepare for the fight by having the right items. Armour with high Corruption resistance, such as the White Specter and Night Specter armour sets, and Purple Camellia to cure Corruption are a must.

As for the fight itself, the strategy is actually very simple, and pretty much the same as our strategy for taking down Dhutanga.
Avoid Lu Bingzhang's ranged attacks, such as the spear and balls of corruption, keeping your distance at all times.
Eventually, he will perform one of a few moves where he will jump or dash towards you, attacking with a large swing.
When you see one of these attacks, dodge forwards into him. This will place you directly behind him as he recovers, at which point you can turn around and backstab him with a heavy attack (hold R2/RT).
This will stagger him. Approach him until the white cross marker turns red, then press R1/RB to perform a punish. Hit him a few times before he gets up and repeat this process!
This is much easier when you have Nian fighting with you, as you can simply walk up behind Lu Bingzhang while he's attacking Nian and get the backstabs off with ease, but it's not too hard to beat him solo either.
For defeating Lu Bingzhang, you'll be rewarded with the Shu Sanctum Key, Mercurial Blood, Priest's Broken Cane, Echo of Lu Bingzhang spell, and a ton of Red Mercury.
