When is the next Fortnite live event? Date and details confirmed
As this season draws to a close, when's our next live event coming up?

While we always get massive crossover events in Fortnite, nothing truly comes close in scale to their regular Fortnite live events.
Live events are usually the culmination of a season, melding the game's bizarre in-game lore with major crossovers with everything from Star Wars to Snoop Dogg.
At one point in the game's story, the universe even ended, so that's the level of spectacular that we're talking about.
So, as Chapter 6 Season 4 draws ever closer, read on to find out when the next Fortnite live event takes place and what we know about it so far.
When is the next Fortnite live event?
The next Fortnite Live Event will take place on 2nd August 2025.
Here in the UK, it will start at 7:30pm BST, which corresponds to the following times in various times zones:
- West Coast US (PDT) – 11:30am
- Central US (CDT) – 1:30pm
- East Coast US (EDT) – 2:30pm
- Central Europe (CEST) – 8:30pm
- East Australia (AEST) – 4:30am 3rd August
- New Zealand (NZST) – 6:30am 3rd August
The Super Showdown live event will see Superman appear in the story "to help save the island," though it hasn't been confirmed exactly from whom or what he is saving the island from.
When was the last Fortnite live event?
The most recent Fortnite live event took place on 7th June 2025 as part of Chapter 6 Season 3.
Dubbed 'Death Star Sabotage', the live event saw players taking to the sky in order to take down the Death Star before it destroyed Battle Royale Island.
It was the climactic ending of the Galactic Battle Star Wars mini-season, concluding with a teaser for Chapter 4's ongoing super season.
How to join a Fortnite live event
To experience the next Fortnite live event, it's best to join a game of Battle Royale before the event is due to begin to experience it in its entirety.
In preparation for events, Epic often takes down Fortnite experiences (like creator mode) until the event's conclusion as it begins to work on implementing the update.
We suspect it will play out much the same way for the next live event, though we'd recommend logging on at least a couple of hours early if you are serious about attending it.

That said, the latest one had an in-game timer surrounding masks that lit up one day at a time. Once the final mask lit up, the live event began. So it can change from event to event.
As the most popular game in the world, Fortnite commonly receives huge queues as players attempt to sign on to Epic's servers, so whatever you do, always sign on early to not miss out.
Fortnite is available via the Epic Games Store across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
