The Son of Bigfoot

In this fun animation for slightly older kids, a teenager discovers his dad is actually a mythic hairy hominid. Faced with the onset of a very odd puberty, the bullied high-schooler is reunited with his father, Bigfoot, in the forest where he now dwells. With the boy also showing Bigfoot tendencies, both father and son find themselves hunted by a baddie in the hair-growth business, who desperately wants to unlock the secret of their hirsuteness. While the computer-generated animation is perfectly watchable, there's still a nagging feeling that a rather better, less formulaic film could have been made of such an engaging idea.
