As the channel that brought you Fawlty Towers, The Great British Bake Off and This Life turns 50, we ask what's the best show it's ever produced?


It may have got off to a shaky start when, on the night of 20 April 1964, a power cut delayed its launch by several hours, but five decades on BBC2 has a lot to celebrate.


As the channel turns 50, we’re asking you which are your favourite homegrown shows from its half-century of broadcasting. Are you a fan of classic comedies like Fawlty Towers and The Office, groundbreaking dramas ranging from This Life to The Line of Duty or imaginative new formats like The Great British Bake Off and Dragons’ Den? Or maybe there are some lesser-known gems you think deserve remembering.
