More than a decade before he launched a galactic charm offensive as Captain Jack Harkness, John Barrowman was a regular presenter on Saturday morning kids’ favourite Live & Kicking. Afterwards, the Glasgow-born, US-raised performer returned to his adoptive home for a role in short-lived CBS soap Central Park West, starring Twin Peaks' Mädchen Amick. He played Peter Fairchild, a hotshot lawyer at the district attorney’s office.
