The Gentlemen season 2 release window and major production update revealed by star Theo James
James has teased that season 2 of the Guy Ritchie crime drama "goes a little wild"...

It's been a long wait for fans of Guy Ritchie's Netflix crime drama, The Gentlemen. The spin-off to the film of the same name first dropped in March 2024, and two years on we're still waiting for news of season 2's release date.
That wait hasn't come to an end just yet, but thankfully we have now got a sense of when it will be, thanks to Eddie Horniman star Theo James.
Speaking with Jasmine Valentine for TikTok, James was asked about the upcoming season, to which he said: "We've finished, we’ve done it, we’ve wrapped season 2. We're doing a cut at the moment.
"There’s still tweaks to be done but it will be in the fall, coming out. And it’s fun. It’s still funny, but it’s darker. Goes a little wild."

Alongside James, other confirmed returning stars for The Gentlemen season 2 include Kaya Scodelario, Daniel Ings, Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Giancarlo Esposito, Michael Vu and Pearce Quigley, while new additions to the cast include Hugh Bonneville and Maya Jama.
The official synopsis for season 2 says: "It’s been one year since Eddie and Susie joined forces to work together in Bobby’s criminal empire overseas.
"As they drive to expand their enterprise, the decisions Bobby is making seem to be increasingly unsound. Now Eddie and Susie must decide whether to take action or risk losing it all, but unfettered ambition never ends well…"

Meanwhile, Ritchie said in a statement in May 2025: "I am delighted to return to set for season 2 of The Gentlemen. This chapter sees a deliberate expansion, both geographically and thematically, as we journey from the English countryside to the Italian lakes.
"Eddie and Susie find themselves navigating an increasingly volatile empire as they’re besieged on all fronts by an influx of enigmatic new players. The stakes are heightened, the power dynamics are more precarious, and I’m thrilled to be collaborating once again with this exceptional cast and crew."
