David – Dougray Scott
David runs Ellen's firm with his wife Kay. He's an introvert and lets Kay handle most of the client interaction. He keeps a tight lid on his emotions, especially his feelings for Ellen.
From Hitman to Mission Impossible 2 and Taken 3, Dougray Scott is something of an international man of mystery thrillers, with roles that have taken him from the UK to Hollywood and back again. From Enigma to My Week with Marilyn and Desperate Housewives, there’s a very good chance you’ve seen him on both the big and small screens before.
Kay – Neve McIntosh
Award-winning architect Kay is a natural mentor and role model for her profession. She's always known what she wanted to do and it wasn't children.
Doctor Who fans will recognise McIntosh’s dulcet tones as those of the show’s Madame Vastra. When she’s not wearing rather intricate green face paint she’s popping up in other things like The Hound Of The Baskervilles, Psychos, Lip Service, Bodies, and Single Father. Oh, and you might have spotted her in Sky 1 medical drama Critical too.
Kieran – Navin Chowdhry
Kieran has been loyal to Paula through a very difficult period. He's the only one who knows the pain she's hiding and has been sworn to secrecy.

Chowdhry’s early career got off to a flying start when he made his professional debut aged 15 in John Schlesinger's critically-acclaimed film Madame Sousatzka, starring alongside Shirley MacLaine and Peggy Ashcroft. You’ll probably know him best for his turn in Doctor Foster or roles in Dalziel And Pascoe, Judge John Deed, Waking The Dead and A Touch Of Cloth.
