Madame Blanc Mysteries confirms feature-length Christmas special and returning cast
Sally Lindsay, Steve Edge and the rest of the central cast will be back.

After its fourth season aired earlier this year, it's now been confirmed that cosy crime drama The Madame Blanc Mysteries will be back for a feature-length Christmas special in December.
The newly announced special will be the show's fourth festive outing, with one having aired every year since 2022.
It will see all of the main cast members return, including Sally Lindsay, Steve Edge, Sue Holderness, Robin Askwith, Alex Gaumond, Sue Vincent and Tony Robinson.
The special will be also be "feature length", and a post on its official Instagram page announcing the news said: "Some extra special news this morning, as we can reveal that this Christmas we’ll be heading to Sainte Victoire for the first ever feature-length episode of The Madame Blanc Mysteries.
"Jean White (@sallylindsay73) is back to what she does best – and let’s just say, she’s as excited as we are".
A statement from Lindsay said: "This year’s Christmas special has been a true labour of love from our lot. Sue and I wanted all the brilliant elements of what makes a Christmas film but it to remain very Madame Blanc.
"We are all thrilled with the results. Merry Christmas!"
The renewal was initially announced alongside a host of other new and returning dramas for 5.
Commenting on the full announcement, Sebastian Cardwell, the deputy chief content officer and head of scripted for Paramount UK, said: "We’re incredibly proud to unveil this new slate of scripted commissions, which showcases the breadth and ambition of 5’s storytelling.

The season 4 finale of The Madame Blanc Mysteries ended up an upbeat note, with Dom proposing to Jean in the final moments and her accepting.
