Award-winning The Pitt favourite lands major role in limited series opposite Hollywood star
Katherine LaNasa will be joining Shailene Woodley in Count My Lies.

As viewers in the UK dive into acclaimed medical drama The Pitt, which is newly available on this side of the pond, there's no denying that one of the clear stand-outs among the cast is Katherine LaNasa, who plays charge nurse Dana.
Now, LaNasa has found a new role, as, according to Deadline, she is confirmed to be playing a recurring role in Hulu's new limited series Count My Lies.
The series, which comes from former This Is Us co-showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, will star Shailene Woodley as Sloane Caraway, a compulsive liar who uses her fabrications to land a nanny job.
The job sees her working for Violet and Jay Lockhart, who are played by Lindsay Lohan and Kit Harington. At first, it seems like a dream role, however Sloane finds that she has entered a household brimming with secrets that are about to explode, with potentially catastrophic consequences for all.

LaNasa, who won an Emmy in the outstanding supporting actress in a drama series category for The Pitt season 1, will play Sloane's mum, Tracy.
In spite of this new role, LaNasa is still expected to return for The Pitt season 3, which recently confirmed some key cast moves, with one star leaving the show and another's role being elevated.
Supriya Ganesh, who has played senior resident Dr Samira Mohan in both seasons 1 and 2, will not be returning for the third outing, while Ayesha Harris, who plays Dr Parker Ellis, one of the senior night shift residents, has been promoted to a series regular.
