Summary

Fifteen familiar faces have been whittled down to five, who now face the final battle for the Celebrity MasterChef trophy. The first challenge of the week involves a visit to the Wedgwood pottery, where the contestants serve afternoon tea under the guiding hand of pastry chef - and Bake Off: The Professionals judge - Cherish Finden. Back in the studio kitchen, the hopefuls deliver a dish that includes an element of performance - knowing for one of them, this will be the last course they put in front of the judges

The remaining five celebrities might be hoping they’re in for a sweet time as today’s first challenge is to create afternoon tea for some special guests at the Wedgwood potteries. However, with famously finicky Bake Off: the Professionals’ judge Cherish Finden overseeing their attempts to re-create one of her recipes, they could come to a sticky end.

The competition continues tomorrow, when four of them will cook a dish dedicated to someone special before tackling the daunting Chef’s Table, held this year at Liam Dillon’s award-laden restaurant the Boat in Lichfield, Staffordshire. Then all John Torode and Grace Dent need do is announce the three who will go through to Friday’s final.
