Summary
"Celebrity MasterChef" sees well-known faces competing in the kitchen to impress judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace. Each week, four celebrities make a variety of dishes until two of them are eliminated. For a place in the semi-final, the last two contestants are challenged to prepare a three-course meal that will be judged by John and Gregg, together with three culinary experts. The series premiered on BBC One in 2006. Series six began airing in a daytime slot Monday to Friday in September 2011. For the sixth series, a prime-time show on a Friday night accompanied the daytime version and featured the celebrities sharing their experiences of the culinary contest.
