Doctor Who's Jodie Whittaker joins new Netflix romantic comedy film from Ted Lasso favourite
Jennifer Lopez leads the cast of upcoming movie Office Romance.

Jodie Whittaker is one of a number of big names who have been announced in the cast for upcoming Netflix romcom Office Romance, which is written by Ted Lasso favourite Bret Goldstein and its co-creator Joe Kelly.
It had already been confirmed that the film would see Goldstein lead the cast alongside megastar Jennifer Lopez, while GLOW's Betty Gilpin and Edward James Olmos had also previously been announced in key supporting roles.
And now former Doctor Who star Whittaker is among a raft of new faces who have been announced for the ensemble cast, with other notable additions including The West Wing's Bradley Whitford, Arrested Development's Tony Hale and comedian Amy Sedaris.
Meanwhile, there are also roles for Mary Wiseman (Star Trek: Discovery), Roger Bart (The Producers), Rick Hoffman (Suits), and Jackie Sandler (The Wrong Missy) among others.

The film has been slated for release on Friday 5 June and is described by Netflix as "a raunchy romantic comedy about a secret office romance and the trouble two workaholics get in when they start thinking with their hearts".
Ol Parker – whose previous credits include Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and George Clooney/Julia Roberts romcom Ticket to Paradise – serves as the film's director.
Meanwhile, an interesting quirk of the casting is that Olmos will be playing the father of Lopez's character, almost 30 years after he did the same in 1997 musical biopic Selena.

Speaking about the film, Goldstein explained: "Every day I come to work to do a romcom with Jennifer Lopez and this incredible cast, and I expect people to jump out and tell me I’m being pranked."
He added: "[It] hasn’t happened yet, so maybe this is real?”
Goldstein is best known for his role as Roy Kent in Ted Lasso – on which he also served as a writer – while he also is the co-creator of Apple TV+ comedy-drama Shrinking and has a role in that show alongside Jason Segel and Harrison Ford.
As for film, he was a co-writer of the sci-fi romance All of You, in which he starred alongside Imogen Poots.
Meanwhile, Whittaker has most recently been seen in the dramas Toxic Town and Frauds, while she will shortly appear in BBC One's Gareth Southgate series Dear England.
