There are times when Utopia gets too horrible, too painful to watch. Be warned: there are more lines crossed tonight and crossed again, as podgy baddie Arby sets about doing the Network’s dirty work, initially at a primary school. Yes, shooting at a primary school (albeit off-screen and out of sight) — and it gets worse from there. When scenes are this nasty, we stop being involved in the story because we’re so busy cringing. Which is a shame, because at its best Utopia is riveting, beautifully shot and very funny, too.
