The X Factor

Series 8 - Episode 4

For those feeling sad after watching so many 9/11 documentaries, here’s an undeniably lightweight distraction. If this additional show of auditions is anything like the earlier offerings, we are in for a treat because, along with the usual parade of deluded warblers and comedic turns, there have been some terrific vocal performances.

Recently Johnny Robinson gave us a real Susan Boyle moment, while Misha Bryan’s powerful version of Respect had judge Kelly Rowland and most of the audience on their feet. It’s no wonder more than 10 million viewers have been tuning in.
