WWE's Chelsea Green has praised fellow superstar Kit Wilson's new entrance following a hugely positive response from fans to the British wrestler's latest music and video package.

Speaking ahead of the second season of Unreal, which arrives on Netflix today and offers viewers an unprecedented look behind the scenes at the iconic wrestling promotion, Green reflected on the importance of a superstar's ring entrance and the work that goes into crafting it.

Asked about her current favourite entrance music, the former Women's United States Champion told RadioTimes.com: "I think I would be crazy to say anything but Kit Wilson right now, and I think that's a perfect example.

"I was just talking about this with my husband [Matt Cardona] and a couple of other superstars. That is the perfect example of how one entrance can change your entire career. It can change the trajectory of your character. It can change your public persona and your appearance to the fans in a span of 30 seconds.

"Kit did that the other day, and I don't know that he will ever be the same after that entrance."

Pretty Deadly star Wilson's new entrance accompanies the latest version of his character, chastising fellow wrestlers and fans for their 'toxic masculinity'.

Green added: "I have always known the importance of an entrance, because I learnt it very quickly from my husband.

"He was always trying to help me craft an entrance, trying to make sure that my song was good, that my song was unique, that I owned the rights to it, that there was something that I did on the ramp – all those things that make you you as a wrestler.

"When I got to NXT, Road Dogg actually helped me craft the 'Shh!' moment. And in TNA, Maria Kanellis also helped me with that. So I've really had so much help building that entrance, but it evolves. And that's the fun part of it.

"I think that's what people want to see when they're sitting in the crowd. All they want to do is interact with you. They don't just want to watch. They want to feel like they're a part of it with you on that ramp or in that ring."

Elsewhere, Green revealed that she's just as keen to watch Unreal season 2 as the fans – and there's one superstar in particular she's looking forward to seeing in the spotlight.

"In the trailer, I noticed that they show a lot of Naomi's story," she added. "And I'm really excited for that.

"I mean, I think we all already know Naomi is such a good human being. She is one of the best people in the whole world. We all love her, we're all friends with her. And so I'm really excited for the world to see that.

"If they don't already know, they're going to find out really quick that that we are all friends with Naomi."

Naomi won last year's Money in the Bank ladder match and went on to successfully cash in her contract on Iyo Sky at Evolution to claim her third Women's World Championship.

However, one month later she vacated the title after announcing that she was pregnant with her first child with husband Jimmy Uso.

Green, who also shouted out Nia Jax as a superstar she hopes fans see more of in future seasons of Unreal, concluded that the reaction to Unreal's first run was "so positive".

"I have a lot of people that feel more inclined to come up to me and say hi, and I love that," she said.

"It's so nice to be able to interact with fans, or just be out and about and have someone come and say, like, 'I watched Unreal. I loved you.' Whatever it is, it feels really good.

"I think people had their thoughts about the whole package of Unreal and what Unreal was and pulling the curtain back, and people were nervous about it, but when it came to the actual talent that were on the show, I think it really gave you a better look of who people are outside of the wrestling ring. And that's crucial for some people."
