The Spaniard produced a dominant display to add a fifth victory of the year in Italy last weekend and extend his lead at the top of the Riders' Standings to 40 points.

His brother, Álex Márquez, claimed a sixth podium at Mugello to remain on his tail as we near the halfway point in the MotoGP calendar.

Marc Márquez will arrive in the Netherlands high in confidence, but TT Circuit Assen has not always been a happy hunting ground for him as he crashed out there last year.

Francesco Bagnaia claimed the win in 2024 and will hope for a repeat on Sunday as he tries to keep his world title hopes alive.
