Premier League predictions this weekend – Matchweek 35
Friday 1 May
Leeds United v Burnley (8pm) Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Premier League
NH: 2-0 Leeds United win. Burnley's race is run and manager Scott Parker has finally departed the Championship-bound Clarets. Leeds, on the other hand, continue to impress and after going toe to toe with European challengers Bournemouth, should have far too much for the visitors at Elland Road.
Saturday 2 May
Brentford v West Ham (3pm) NO TV
2-2 draw. Brentford's European charge is running out of steam but West Ham are coming on strong as they push for Premier League survival. The Bees have got plenty of firepower and this could turn into something of a shoot-out on Saturday.
Newcastle v Brighton (3pm) NO TV
2-0 Brighton win. The end of the season can't come sooner enough for Newcastle, who are stumbling toward the finish line and lost four on the bounce. Brighton, meanwhile, are on the charge and will be raring to go after an extended rest.

Wolves v Sunderland (3pm) NO TV
1-0 Sunderland win. Sunderland looked a shadow of themselves in last weekend's thumping against Nottingham Forest and you have to think that a big response is coming from Regis Le Bris's men. The good news? It's a trip to relegated Wolves next, which should allow them to exercise their demons.
Arsenal v Fulham (5:30pm) Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Premier League
2-1 Arsenal win. It's hard to underestimate the importance of last weekend's victory against Newcastle for Arsenal, even if they were not totally convincing. They showed fight in their midweek draw in the Spanish capital and will relish the chance to regain top spot – with Man City not in action until Monday. Fulham are a dangerous side and the North Londoners can expect a scare.
Sunday 3 May
Bournemouth v Crystal Palace (2pm) Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Premier League
3-1 Bournemouth win. Fresh legs are so important at this point in the campaign, which is why it's advantage Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. Crystal Palace are in Europa Conference League semi-final action on Thursday and may well struggle to keep up with the high-energy Cherries on Sunday as a result.
Man Utd v Liverpool (3:30pm) Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Premier League
1-1 draw. Man Utd keep winning games under Michael Carrick but have not looked the complete package of late and Liverpool have plenty of momentum of their own. Though there is no Mo Salah, who has been a thorn in the Red Devils' side over the years, the visitors are hardly short on attacking quality.
Aston Villa v Tottenham (7pm) TNT Sports 1
3-1 Aston Villa win. I meant what I said earlier about fresh legs but Tottenham's confidence is still so fragile that they could fall apart against a dangerous Aston Villa team at Villa Park. An early goal could set Spurs wobbling and they can't match the hosts for firepower.
Monday 4 May
Chelsea v Nottingham Forest (3pm) Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Premier League
1-1 draw. UPSET OF THE WEEK. It was job done for Chelsea against Leeds United at Wembley but now interim boss Calum McFarlane must salvage their Premier League season. Though Nottingham Forest will be flying after last weekend's victory, Thursday evening's Europa League clash may slow them a little and see the points shared.
Everton v Man City (8pm) Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Premier League
2-1 Man City win. This is a game that many have circled as the hurdle that could fell Man City's title charge. Everton are more than capable of giving Pep Guardiola's side a scare, but City are the masters of holding their nerve at the business end of the season and Erling Haaland is back in the goals.
