A second season is on its way.

The Marvellous Miniature Workshop is returning for an extended second season.
The hit series, which is hosted by BBC Radio 2 host Sara Cox and produced by EarlyBird, has been commissioned for more than double the original number of episodes in the first season, expanding from eight to 20 instalments. The episodes have also been extended to 45 minutes.
The programme sees a team of artists who specialise in making miniatures of things recreate cherished buildings and locations of great personal significance to various contributors, who tell presenter Cox about their stories during the show.
Cox said in a statement that she's "absolutely over the moon about the new series of Marvellous Miniature Workshop".
She added: "It’s easily the most heartwarming & wonderful programme I’ve ever been involved with.”

EarlyBird founder Dom Bird added: "I’m delighted Sara’s returning to BBC One for this new run. Seeing audiences respond so positively to The Marvellous Miniature Workshop has been a real pleasure and I’m thrilled that the BBC has commissioned EarlyBird to deliver this super-sized order.
"These extended 45-minute episodes will enable Sara to immerse viewers even further into the extraordinary artistry of our miniaturists, showcasing the programme’s exceptional ability to capture the magic in the minutiae.”
The Marvellous Miniature Workshop season 1 premiered on BBC One back in December and soon became a hit with viewers and critics alike.
