It officially launched on 8 April 2026.

Is Pokémon Champions on mobile?

No, Pokémon Champions is not on mobile.

The game has been confirmed to be getting a port for both iOS and Android later in 2026, but for now, it is a Nintendo Switch exclusive.

To link Pokémon Champions and Pokémon Home, you need to follow these simple steps:

  1. Boot up Pokémon Home on your Nintendo Switch console
  2. Log in, and select the Pokémon Champions icon in the bottom-right corner of your screen
  3. Confirm that the Pokémon Champions account listed is the one you want to link
  4. Your Pokémon Champions and Pokémon Home accounts will now be linked

From here on out, you can now use Pokémon Home to transfer Pokémon in and out of the game at your leisure.

How many Pokémon are in Pokémon Champions?

There are 185 total Pokémon in Pokémon Champions.

Naturally, this number cuts out a lot of competitively unviable Pokémon that players are probably never going to use.

However, it also cuts out a fair few popular Pokémon, somewhat limiting the number of interesting strategies that players can cook up on their own.

With the new Mega Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: Z-A being added to Champions, there are a whole host of new Mega Abilities.
