This cute seasonal comedy drama stars Dolly Parton as a country-and-western singer who meets an untimely death and is sent back to Earth to perform a good deed before she can enter heaven. She decides to try and reunite a workaholic father with his children, and sets about her task with her usual down-home charm and sparkle. This is perfect fare if you're a Parton fan, but it's also notable for featuring one of the last performances of the wonderful Roddy McDowall (as Saint Peter, no less), who died in 1998.
